This help article will provide some common examples of patient properties.

Patient properties are used to collect important information that doesn’t change frequently, such as the patient's phone number, physician’s name/phone number, referral source, etc. Patient properties can be different kinds of questions. Here are the question types you can use when setting up patient properties, and examples of how each question type can be used:

Any other important dates that are not a DOB

Lets you track how long ago an injury (or other event) happened

Storing name of the person who refered the patient to you

General notes about the patient, e.g., hobbies, recent vacation

Any number that is not a phone number, e.g., number of children

Any phone number, e.g., patient phone number; emergency contact phone number
